The movie follows the journey of Joe Wayright, a retired rodeo champion, and his daughter Sally as they face a crisis that can only be solved if Joe competes in and wins a rodeo competition. Joe must reconnect with his old friend Charlie Williams and the bullfighter, whom he hasn't spoken to in a while, in order to participate in the competition. Despite the tension with his daughter, Joe must confront his inner struggles and make a difficult decision for the sake of his family.
