After leaving her military past behind, Sara, a former special forces officer, embarks on a new life in the USA with her son Joshua. However, when Joshua goes missing during a visit to the US Consulate in Frankfurt, Sara is accused of lying and asked to leave the premises. With no help from the consulate staff and the German police unable to intervene on American soil, Sara faces the possibility of never finding her son. Determined to uncover the truth, Sara decides to hide in the consulate and as she delves deeper into her search, she realizes she is being manipulated as a pawn in someone else's dangerous game.
